Providers

A page each for the seven providers that can report deliveries back. Read Delivery reports and providers first for what a webhook is and what the store does with each event that arrives.

Every one of these was set up from scratch against a real account, and each page says what that turned up rather than what the provider's documentation promises. The two are not always the same.

Which one to pick

Provider Set up from the store Notes
SMTP2GO Yes The only one that echoes a header back, so its events match without anything clever. One webhook per account on the free plan.
Amazon SES Yes Cheapest at volume and the most setup. Events arrive over SNS, and everything is per region.
SendGrid Yes The key needs the webhook permission as well as the sending one, which is not the default.
Postmark Yes Two kinds of token. Senders are verified per address or per domain, for the whole account.
Mailgun Yes Needs an account key, not the sending key its onboarding hands you. US and EU are separate installations.
MailerSend Yes Custom headers need a Professional plan on the API transport. SMTP carries them on any plan.
Resend Yes The simplest of the seven to get working. Senders are per domain rather than per address.

Any other transport still sends mail. What it cannot do is tell the store what happened to a message afterwards, so bounces never suppress an address and a campaign's delivered figure stays empty.

The one thing worth knowing before you start

The numbers on a campaign screen are not proof that your provider is reporting anything.

Opens and clicks are counted by the store's own tracking pixel and click redirect. Those run on every campaign, whether or not a single webhook has ever arrived, so a campaign can show delivered, opened and clicked while the provider has said nothing at all. It looks exactly like a working setup.

The Providers card under Newsletters → Settings is the honest answer. It marks each address with a tick once events have actually arrived, and says nothing has been received when nothing has. Trust that one.
