KahunaCart is made by Trilby Media, LLC. This page covers kahunacart.com and the demo store at demo.kahunacart.com. The short version: we collect very little, we do not sell or share what we collect, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we collect
Your email address, if you give it to us. The newsletter form adds your address to our mailing list so we can tell you about new releases, new add-ons and the occasional offer. That is all it is used for. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
Server logs. Like every web server, ours records the address a request came from, the page asked for, the time, and the browser that asked. We use those logs to keep the site running and to spot abuse, and they are deleted after a short while. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
Nothing else. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising trackers and no social media pixels on this site.
Cookies
The site sets two cookies, both needed for it to work. One is a session cookie that keeps forms secure while you fill them in. The other remembers the choice you make on the cookie banner, so we do not ask again on every page. Neither identifies you, and neither is shared with anyone. If we ever add an optional cookie, the banner will list it and let you decline it.
The demo store
Anything you type into the demo store, whether an account, an address or a test order, is wiped every hour when the demo resets. Use made-up details there. Nothing entered on the demo is kept, read or used for any purpose.
Buying from us
Payments are taken by Polar as merchant of record. Polar receives your card details, your billing address and your email address, charges you and issues the receipt; its own privacy policy covers what it does with them. We never see your card number. We keep the record of your order, your licence key and your downloads so we can deliver updates and support you.
Who we share it with
Nobody, apart from the services we use to run the site: the company that hosts it and the email service that sends the mailing list. They handle the data only on our behalf. We would disclose personal information beyond that only if the law required us to.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the mailing list from any email we send. To see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, email [email protected] or write to Trilby Media, LLC, 3649 Evergreen Pkwy #502, Evergreen, CO 80439-9998, USA, and we will sort it out.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. We will not quietly widen what we collect.
