What should I include in a request?

The fastest way to a fix is a request that already has the facts in it. Include as many of these as apply:

  • The support report, pasted as it is. See Get a support report to send with a request.
  • The exact steps you took, in order, what you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
  • The lines from logs/grav.log around the time it happened. See How do I find the error behind a problem?
  • For a payment problem, the order number and the payment provider's own reference for the payment. Those are references, not secrets.
  • Your theme: the stock Kahuna theme, a theme with template overrides, or your own.
  • For a purchase or licence question, your kahunacart.com order number.

Screenshots help too. Attach them to the request.

Never paste secrets

Do not paste any of these into a request, a screenshot or a log excerpt:

  • API keys and access tokens,
  • webhook signing secrets,
  • passwords,
  • your customers' personal details.

The support report is redacted for you. Log excerpts and screenshots are not, so check them before you send.
