No. Renewal is optional, and the installed software does not expire.
Your purchase includes a year of updates and support from the day you buy. After that, renew only if you want new versions and support.
What renewing gives you
- New features, security fixes and compatibility updates, including the ones payment providers and new PHP and Grav versions make necessary.
- Support for another year.
- One renewal covers every add-on on your key. There are no per-add-on renewals.
Founders renew at half price for the life of the licence. Sign in to your account before you renew, and the founders price is applied.
If you do not renew
- The version you have installed keeps working. Nothing is switched off.
- You stop receiving new versions and support until you renew.
- You can skip a year and renew later.
Security fixes ship in the latest version only, and older versions are not patched. An older version may also need updating before you upgrade PHP or Grav.
