Add your licence key to the site first, then install the plugin. The download itself is licensed, so a site with no key on file cannot fetch KahunaCart at all.
Add your licence key
Your key is in your purchase confirmation email, together with the installation instructions. See Where do I find my licence key? if you cannot find it. Use one of these:
- In the admin. Open License Manager in the admin sidebar and add the key for
kahunacart. If it is not there, install the License Manager plugin from Plugins first. - On the command line, with the License Manager plugin installed:
bin/plugin license-manager add -s kahunacart -l YOUR-LICENCE-KEY
- By hand. Add the key to
user/data/licenses.yaml:

A key is four groups of eight characters separated by dashes.
Install the plugin
- Install KahunaCart from Plugins in the admin, or run
bin/gpm install kahunacartfrom the root of your Grav site. - If you use MySQL or PostgreSQL, configure the database and then apply the schema with
bin/plugin kahunacart migrate. SQLite needs no setup. - Check the result:
bin/plugin kahunacart status
status prints the database engine, any pending migrations, the job queue and the registered payment providers. A fresh install lists only the built-in offline provider.
The store is now at /shop, and its admin is under KahunaCart in the admin sidebar.
