Order emails, the scheduler and the job queue
- Order emails aren't being sent KahunaCart never sends email in the middle of a checkout. Every email goes onto the job queue.
- How do I set up Grav's scheduler (cron)? Order emails, download links, expiring stock holds and cart cleanup are background jobs.
- Jobs are failing: how do I see why and retry them? A job that throws an error is tried up to three times, with a longer wait between attempts, capped at one hour.
- Emails fail with "Relay access denied", but test emails work The admin sends its test email with your site's settings. Order emails are sent by the background worker, which can end up with a different set of settings.
- A customer didn't get their download link Download links are created by a background job once the order is paid. When a customer has none, work through these in order. Is the scheduler running?
